Goldbreasted Waxbill male

I have a beautiful male Goldbreast waxbill that I would like to find a home for that has other Goldbreasts for him to be with in the Oregon/Washington area. He is a wild caught and would be great if he went into a breeding program to help establish this species domestically. He has lots of orange so I think he is a northern strain.
I would love to trade in part or whole for another owl, but am willing to give him for free to the right home that has other Goldbreasts. I am willing to deliver in Oregon/Washington. I don't want to ship.
Thanks!

I wish I was closer, but regretably am not? Maybe get a female shipped in for him. Ponytail Joe, up in British Colombia, might be able to help you.

h2olilee lovezebs I didn't think about Ponytail Joe. He only does large shipments for U.S. customers, but he drives to Seattle to make those shipments. Maybe he could bring you a GB hen if he was coming to Seattle anyway?

Are his birds wild caught or domestic bred?

Not sure, but could probably shoot him an e-mail and find out.

Could be either, as he does breed some and work with imports as well. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
