Hi all,

Last July (2014), my daughter got four society finches. By September that had turned to eight (and no, we didn’t buy more). Now we’re at nine, and she’s bored of them.

We live in Castle Rock, Colorado and would simply like to give them away. As already mentioned, there are nine birds, two of which are rather enjoying attempts to make more. She has three cages. Two which house the birds on a daily basis, and one she uses to move them two when cleaning the other cages. These include water bottles, food dispensers, branches, and nests.

If you’re interested and live within 100 miles of Castle Rock, let me know. You can either come pick them up or I can deliver them to you.

Thanks,
-CR Guy

Good luck with finding homes for your Societies! It sometimes happens with children that they get bored with a new pet, so you are taking the best course of action. Societies are wonderful pets, and this is a very generous offer. If you don't find homes for them, you might want to contact the Rocky Mountain Society of Aviculture in Denver. They might have members who would be interested.

Glad you were able to find new homes for them. I've edited your title to reflect that they have been taken.
