ISO-White Headed Mannikans/Munias/Nuns in Texas

They are incredibly hard to find, so I'm looking for anyone in Texas who have some, or do you know of a place who has them and can ship?

We never see the over here either.
Another interesting species, is the Scaly Breasted Munias. Just saw a picture of them on Google somewhere, and found them to be quite attractive.

They're both very pretty birds. I think I like the white headed munias because they remind me of little bald eagles, with those white heads and brown bodies. The funny thing about the scaly breasted munias is that the Petco in my town has a big picture of one in their bird section, but they've never had any for sale!

Sally and I both know someone with White-headed Nuns. He actually has a lot of Munia here in Texas...

Colt Yes, he has them, but he is keeping most of them for his own breeding program, and what he will sell is very expensive. Understandable, since they are so rare.

I keep jokingly asking my husband for that adult pair you mentioned, and he just laughs! I would love to have a pair though...they're beautiful!
