If so, I'll be there, and I'm selling the following birds:
Two red throated parrot finches (related pair-sex unknown)
One Blue capped cordon blue-male
One Bronze-winged mannikin-sex unknown
One Black and white mannikin-sex unknown
One Self Chocolate Society-male (split to fawn)
Not sure on prices yet, but I'll know for sure by Saturday

Whatever you don't sell, don't forget our Cleburne mart on May 7.

I definitely plan on coming to that one too...the only reason I'm going to this one is to make some money to get a another blue faced parrot finch to go with this adorable lutino I got from Colt a couple of weeks ago

The mart was very disappointing....there were not many people there to buy birds. I traded three of my birds for a pair of indigo finches, and bought my blue faced parrot finch from Colt, and then a GORGEOUS male gouldian from a seller there. Just wish I could have sold more birds. I doubt I'll go to that one again...too far of a drive for such disappointment.

slwatson Sorry to hear that you didn't sell more, that is a long way to drive. I really think that there are simply too many marts now in Texas, and it is hurting everyone. At our last bird club meeting, a member from Oklahoma told us that is what happened in Oklahoma, they had more and more marts till they all imploded. Now they have no bird clubs, no marts. That is a very scary and possible scenario for Texas. We used to have just 2 marts in the DFW area each year, and then one in Temple which reached more of the people in central Texas. There were a couple of marts in south Texas each year. Now there is a mart just about every month!

That's crazy! I hope that doesn't happen here in Texas....this particular one should have just been a show and not a mart, (in my opinion)!
