I have someone who will take everything but who now changed to Thurday and I need as soon as possible.
My apartment got to 91 last night and it is too hot and the birds are struggling.
And so am I. I must concentrate on myself with my health difficulties in this heat. And not be stressing out fearful they will die on me and how to keep them cool.

wow, it is like giving them for free. I wish you were close.

When I was in a place with no A/C, I would open all the windows at night when it was cool. Then in the morning, before the air outside got warm, I closed the windows, blinds & hung sheets with over the blinds with alligator clips. The ceiling fan was on high, and there was a big floor fan. I do hope you can get some legal help about the conditions in your apartment. I think you are being taken advantage of.

I lived for 3 years in the upstairs of a 1920's house with no air, the apartment got to 95 many times during the summer. I had 40 birds, including society finches, and they didn't even seem to notice the heat. They had only a couple fans to move the air and open windows which rarely offered a breeze. They had baths available and did use them often.

It has been my experience finches tend to do really well in heat.
