I'm assuming these are long gone? I literally JUST joined but I've been looking for cordon blues for years. I really don't want to ship, as I've had terrible luck doing this with my rare breed chickens. I'm in Ellicott City.

Sunbay in the topic Species was looking for a cordon bleu. Try sending a pm and see if sunbay is interested.

Thanks, Wildbird, but she's looking for blue-capped, and she's in Florida and I don't ship.

It's a good deal, so it might be that the people who want them live too far away.

Re: Pair of Red-Cheeked Cordon blues in frederick MD
For those of you who aren't familiar with this species, they are absolutely delightful! Not only are they beautiful, but both sexes sing, and their song is lovely, not loud at all but wonderful to hear. They are not that difficult to care for, though like most waxbills, they are harder to breed. However, one of our members had a pair of RCCB, and they bred just as easy as can be for her. She was new to finches, too. $75 is an absolute steal for these birds.
