Have you checked hoobly.com for finches in PA? I found this ad just now (sorry, no time to check further). Good luck!

I've got a chocolate self society that's going through its adult molt right now. It looks like it might have a few tiny pied flecks on it. I can't post a picture right now, but let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for the society offer, however, I would like definite self colored Societies with no chance of pied.
I did contact that hoobly ad...she says the silver Javas are split to "cream" and wants $100/bird, but has no "creams" on site to show. I'm just a bit Leary of that for that price.

Try Stewarts Bird Farm in Harleysville, Pa. (north of Philadelphia). They had creams last year and I've been told he gets mutations in Javas. I have the phone number at home, so if you need it, I have to get back to the library to post. Should be able to get it from the internet.
