I do believe there is quite a process involved, involving Veterenary check ups, a lot of paper work, quaranteen and so on.

Fraza Yep, you have to go through a lot of red tape, the birds have to be quarantined for about a month (at your expense). You have to hire a broker to handle all the paperwork for you, plus transfer from arriving airport to quarantine center.

Nobody in their right and mind would ever ship run of the mill societies/zebras to the US from England when these birds are a dime a dozen.
