Okay, I'm getting a full spectrum bird light for my indoor spices and was wondering if they would enjoy a basking light as well. The temp in my apt. is usually 70-80 degrees depending on the time of day. Also, should I put it in or outside of the enclosure? thanks.

I put my lights outside the enclosure.

I agree - there is less likelihood of their getting burned by the bulb if the light is outside. I wouldn't think a basking light is necessary since your cage is indoors.
