Inexpensive Breeder setups?

I am looking for reasonably priced breeding cages or directions for making inexpensive setups. I went to the Norcross, GA bird fair a couple of weeks ago and am kicking myself for not taking advantage of the awesome prices offered there. Anyone have a link to a supply company or somewhere I can find cages? The prices in my local pet stores are absurd.

Erin, there is a lot of nice info on the FF for breeding cages -- just a suggestion: try using the "search" tab at the top and see if you can find some of those older posts.

I'm sure someone else may know some sites off the top of their head and hopefully they'll respond.

I've bought from Country Feathers in the past, with good results. They now have breeding cages with removable grates, which would be awesome, but unfortunately their prices seem to have gone up on them. Not sure if they still carry the regular breeding cages or not, but their phone number is probably on their website. They shipped very quickly and the cages were of very good quality.

I've also found some good deals on eBay. Do a search for case bird cages. (As always, check the sellers' feedback comments before buying.)

I made these...not rocket science..if you can't make them find a pensioner with a few tools who can.That way you get the sizes YOU want.Not expensive to make either...

I got my first ones on ebay. They are not top quality, but they are good and affordable. I would not get any smaller than 30" long. It is also very easy to zip tie two 30" breeder cages together and have one nice long breeder cage.
