I'm wondering how those tube-water devices are accepted by them. I saw some huge ones that could be used in my aviary. Placed outside with the tube inside.
Ya'll have any experience with them?

Bird Supply of New Hampshire has this one that holds 14 oz. It comes in blue or clear.

I thought of you today when I was returning from the airport. Took Highway 10, because 183 is awful at rush hour, and I passed the Bell Helicopter plant. I noticed there is a rail stop next to it, can you do that instead of driving?

Sally,
I just had to respond about the 183 traffic comment. I didn't know 10 could take you to Fort Worth area? Does it go more north or south? I've never taken the rail, but know some who do that and they park and ride from Dallas. Interesting thought, as I drive from DFW to downtown Fort Worth daily.

When I was working and driving to/from the airport, I hated it if I had to hit 183 during rush-hour traffic, it is always bad. Hwy 10 sort of parallels 183. I would pick it up right after leaving the south exit of the airport, only had to be on 183 till the first exit. Then 10 takes you to 820 and 121--you never really get on 820, you go from 10 to access road of 820 to 121, which takes you right to 35W, just north of downtown Ft. Worth. You do get traffic lights on Hwy 10, but at least it keeps moving, unlike 183, which can become a parking lot at times. I used to try to bid for trips that signed in midday or late evening, no early mornings for me!

Sorry for the hijack, Bill.

Bit late with this Bill...but I always incorporate a cage front into the aviary mesh so that I can use cage front accessories for water etc.

no worries Sally. You are not hijacking. I deal with the dfwconnector construction every day. I come in from the North side, but it is bad all around it.
Thanks for the suggestion Pooh Bear. My aviary will have plexiglass panels on the front and plywood panels making up the rest of the structure.
it won't be like a flight cage like they live in now.
