? about mesh size
I am having trouble with snakes and was wondering what size mesh does everyone use on outside aviaries?

Re: ? about mesh size
I used 1/2 x 1/2 inch hardware cloth and had 2 snakes and small mice get in a few years ago. The snakes ate 5 owl fledglings and I then decided to rewire it to 1/4 inch hardware cloth. It has been 3 years and have had no problems since.alexbrgr wrote:I am having trouble with snakes and was wondering what size mesh does everyone use on outside aviaries?

I paint it flat black and it makes it much easier to see.alexbrgr wrote:Is it hard to see through the 1/4" mesh?
