So, I just recently decided to breed my green singers. Since I still live with my dad, he told me I could, so long as they were kept in my room. So I built the cage, built the stand, and put it in my closet( I don't have doors, just curtains and the curtain allows me to cover them at night)
The cage is facing my room window, but my problem is after 9 am, not much light comes in and I don't think its bright enough in there for them. Also, they're mating, and I think they're supposed to have a certain amount of hours of sunlight each day...
I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for lighting and where I could get what I need? (As cheap as it can possibly be, if possible. I'm keeping myself on a budget...)
Thank you!

Re: Help with Lighting!
For my smaller cage set up i use a fish tank light (the ones that just sit on top) then just buy daylight florecent bulbs to put in them-
they should have them at your pet shop here there about 20.00 cdn
