Cage Cover

Post by rcirmele » Sat Oct 08, 2011 9:51 am

I had a cage cover made for my double flight cage. I got to retire the bed sheet.

Very pretty!
Don't know if I could ever cover my birds like that, they would absolutely freak out ... lol

Debbie,

I looked at your site. Very nice. I love the gazebo/coop. I think you would need about $400.00 worth of fabric for your birds. My guys are so tame they never freak out with the cover. They love to come out of the cage and sit with me. They'll actually fall asleep in my hands.

Lovely cover Ray. My birdies are used to being covered also. If I don't cover them at the usual time they will not go to their sleeping spots until I do.

I love your signature with the "1 dog that loves seeds and 1 dog that loves pellets"....too funny! Were they bred that way?

Deborah,

Same for mine. I've got lights on timers for a gradual light decrease, but they don't really settle in until the cover is on. One day I was cleaning the cage and turned around to find Petey with his face buried in the pellets. Louie constantly belly crawls under the cage in search of dropped seed. Neither dog seems to be suffering.
