New Aviary

Post by happybeaks » Wed Nov 02, 2011 11:55 am

Hello, I've had my aviary up now for two months buy now I have to start thinking about installing a heater. I know I should have incorporated that into the building phase but it slipped my mind. Anyone have ideas on a heating source. My dimensions are 4' x 6.5' x 8'. My aviary currently houses owl finches, canaries and gouldians. Thanks.

Depends on whether it's inside or out...Do you mean to heat a shelter or a heat source in an open aviary?...And where do you come from..fill out your profile so we know where in the world you are.

If your trying to heat an enclosed insulated space (like a shed) you could use a oil filled heater like I do, works great.
