What toys do you have for your birds ?

Do your finches enjoy playing ? What toys have you given them ?

I have tried a few different with my society finches. At first i had a swing for them, that looked like a hoop, but they didnt seem to mind it. Then i gave them another swing, just a rectangular wooden one with a bell - and the male seemed to enjoy that one he hopped on and off it often and liked to touch the little bell on it with his beak. I also have little ladders in their cage, and they seem to like those!
At the moment they have a chain consisting of large hoops with a bell on it, and the male also enjoys hopping onto that one. I also put in a little house of branches, it looks like a tunnel with an open door in the front - but they only climb on that one, they haven't had the curage to explore it yet.

Tell me about what toys your finches like!

The absolute favorite toy of all my finches is a parakeet swing. I think just about all of them love to go in the swing.

I also have a series of plastic hoops with a bell at the bottom. Honestly, I've only ever seen my Javas play with it.

The final toy is just a small bell that is sitting on the bottom of the cage. I got it for my male Java because he would try to take the treat dishes off the side of the cage and then proceed to pick them up and toss them around; I think he liked the sound of the plastic dishes hitting stuff in the cage. He hasn't messed around with the treat dishes since getting the bell, but there again I've noticed my Javas are the only ones that play with this loose bell.
