Good places to buy divided cages?

Post by nelloyello11 » Tue Dec 20, 2011 8:01 pm

I am looking to purchase just one (maybe two) 30x18 cages with a removable divider. I have been looking for local postings for used ones, but haven't seen any yet.
I have tried looking online, but wading through the different sites is difficult, because they are either very expensive, or only come in cases of 3,4, or 6.
I know I have seen on here, recommendations for places to order them from, but I can't seem to find any posts about it due to too common search terms, etc.

Suggestions? Recommendations?

I bought mine on Ebay with free shipping.
Here's an example:

Try Country Feathers, they now have cages that have removable grates.

Darn, if only you lived closer. I have a two stackable cage and stand that I had listed on Craigslist that I would like to sell. Mine is 36 inches long and 18 inches wide and 18 inches tall. It has the cage divider too. Now that I'm thinking about it I should re-list it on Craigslist. I bought it online at www.thecagewarehouse.com

All good ideas. I bought a 30x35x18 on a stand with wheels for $100 at my local bird fair....very nice, quality cage.

The cage I bought new, 31Wx41Hx20D on a stand w/wheels I bought for $142 at a local pet store. Same one, PH Prevue Hendryx Model F040 sells on line for $269.99.

The double cage with removeable divider, 61Lx56Hx18D on a stand w/wheels I bought for $100 on Craig's List was a great deal. It was brand new; I had to put it together. The people had bought it as a 3 Level Ferret Chinchilla Sugar Glider Cage "Black Vein" brand. Basically it's a bird cage with divider.

So my tip to you is look on Craig's List, etc. for a cage other than a bird cage. Example; look under sugar glider cage, etc.

Good luck

You could always order a case from Country Feathers and then post the extras on craigslist.
