How do I house my future finches?

I would love to acquire 4 more species of finches but I need to know if I have the space to house them. I currently have owls, goulds, zebras and the two indigo finches in separate cages. All the goulds are in a large flight cage and the others are in a quad flight cage. I can add a 30x18x18 to the bottom of the flight if need be. I would like to add a pair of each of these:
blue capped cordon bleu, goldbreast waxbill, green singers and fire finches. Can I house any of these with my others?

Green singers need fly space, but you can only keep one pair per flight due to aggression toward their own species. Sometimes, the GS can be pushy with other species of finch. My GS are only pushy, but not aggressive toward my YF Stars, which have similar coloring, so that is probably the reason. The rccb's, bccb's, and bbcb's get along with most species, but when breeding can be a little bossy, but never aggressive. The gold breasts will take over other finches nests and can be quite aggressive, despite their size, so I keep mine separated in their own cage. The fires get along with most species of finch and are often ones who are pushed around by the other species. They likely would breed better in a cage alone, but otherwise will do fine in a mixed flight. I'd keep the zebras away from every other species, as they are aggressive toward others and their own kind. I am not familiar with the indigo finch, but someone else can add their input, I'm sure.

Based on personal experience if you want your owls to breed and be successfull do not put them in with goldbreast, the goldbreast can get a bit territorial and try to take over the nest of the owls, toss the owl young.

I personally do not advise 2 species together in a 30x18 cage, it is to small especially if they start producing. RCCBs are rather timid and may get along with the owls butagain that is with room enough for 4. Bear in mind in a small cage with limited space owls can chase others around the cage to get them away from a nest or territory, it even happens in a 5 ft long 3 ft high flight.

Green singser are a bit hyper and literally hang off the sides and flip...I would keep species apart if only using 30 x 18 cages. Flights are different provided there is enough space and nesting areas. When you say a quad cage is that 4 separate cages or a large flight made up of 4 cages?

Cindy the quad is 4 separate cages. But it can turn into just two by removing the divider and it become as 40x20.

You can certainly house a few pairs in there, I would choose passive birds like CBs, owls, lavendars...but do bear in mind and bird can become somewhat territorial when breeding and nesting....just provide plants, plenty of nests if you are going to breed in that cage.
