from what I read here in regards to 6% it is 1/2 a teaspoon to 2 quarts so to double the powder it is

1 teaspoon to 2 quarts for 7 days

For ill birds it would be 2 teaspoon to 2 quarts.

Sorry about the above post, it was meant for one about the ronex 6%...must have grabbed this one by mistake but it is good to refer to in case you have 6%....

anyway...the little plastic mesh piece can be made as big as you want. You can fix it to the screen with thin zip ties, you can make two pieces for inside and out, overlap part of the screen edges inbetween the plasitc mesh, this can help cover rough areas of wire around the bottle nozzle.

Yeah I really like this idea. I think I have seen that mesh in black too so I might try that to make it a little less visible. Thanks for the suggestion Cindy!

Nelissa, the square in the middle was started with a hole pinch and I used a small pair of scissors. If I used a finer pointed pair the cut would have been cleaner...oh and get black skinny zip ties to!!!!

Kind of late, I checked the bottles, LM Animal Farm Bottles, they don't drip, I love them.

Here is my water tube mounted into my 1/2x1/2 wire mesh cage.

The top pix is the hole in the cage.
You can see where I removed the horizontal piece and then spread the opening wider, so the trough of the waterer will fit.

Middle pix is the 2oz glass tube waterer mounted.
You can see on the top how I had to use veggie ties to secure the clip onto the cage.

Bottom pix is a plastic 4oz tube.
I was able to force the top clip into the 1/2x1/2 hole in the mesh.
