Paint your aviary/cage!

Post by TheGrassfinch » Sat Feb 04, 2012 2:24 am

I started paining the welded mesh of my aviary today.
In my mind this is one of the most important things you need to do. Especially if you love watching your flock. The black colour on the mesh makes it near invisible.

Note the difference between the top painted half and the bottom unpainted half. I will be finishing the rest during the day.

That's one thing I like about using the plastic hardware mesh for my flight. Its already black, so no need to paint! However, you can't use the plastic stuff outside, its too weak to hold up against predators.
