indoor aviary
Your indoor aviary is beautiful. How do you keep it warm being so open and the birds so close to the glass? Do the finches not fly into the windows at all ? Love the plant and finch mix. Got me thinking....

They seem to do rather well overall. They could fly into the glass but maybe my non glass cleaning system is working? lolol...The plants are way taller now and is much more filled in with a sea of greens. I love it! Only problem I have had with the aviary is when I am taking care of the plants once in a while I get an escapee' and have to round it up which is scary as they get to flying so fast am scared one will crash into something. Our place is passive solar so no problem heating it at all! actually we often have the doors open to let cool air in as it get too warm sometime.
