Re: Cage
My Uncle used to own one of those cages, and his only problem is that he didn't pay attention to the spacial needs of his finches so he kept about 20 finches, although they were quite well behaved and didnt kill each other

Re: Cage
I have one similar, can't tell if it's the exact one. Does it have a large swing out door in the front also? I use it for a temporary holding cage.

Re: Cage
They most likely have every idea, it's just for marketing purposes, a lot of owners of birds aren't well informed, so they go off the marketing tag and approve itpoohbear wrote:"...and is designed for multiples of small birds"
These manufacturers haven't got the faintest idea...they all put the perches in the wrong way round. They should stick to making rabbit hutches.

Re: Cage
I have one similar to that but smaller with a large swinging door. My advice is to pass on it. I use mine as a hospital cage for my "on deaths door" sick birds for the easy access but other than that I wouldn't even think about using it. It's very cheaply made and I have heard horror stories of birds losing a foot from getting it caught in the cage bars around the swinging door part.
Owls, Goulds, European Goldfinch, Red Belly Siskins and Zebs... For now...
