Well I use wicker baskets fully enclosed, as well as natural sites. I have tried wooden finch boxes and the cylinder type wicker nests but they seem to use them. Grasses and feathers are used as material.

Ok ty, I was going to try the wood nest box (have had much success with other species). But a nice wicker nest may be fine for me, if it is good for them.

I answered this question in another thread, but my CBs all use the large hooded wicker nests. I hate the wicker nests, because the birds can get their toenails caught in them, but I've had no success trying to convert them to other nestboxes.
