I Just got this exact cage Friday night and I got a wonderful deal as well! In speaking to my friend and mentor...so many of you know her initials HH... she showed me how to horizonally spit the cage with cage wire and fasteners. I will be setting it up for breeding cages and my large cages will go for separating the genders as soon as the Star, Cherry and Owls fledge their 2nd clutch. This should be soon. THe one thing of concern for me is that I need to raise it off of the floor 12+ inches so my dogs do not get interested. To date, they have shown no interest except for Herbie, my male schnauzer who watches TV, and he will sit on one of the chairs and watch them fly side to side. Looks like he is watching tennis. He looses interest and wonders off. Thank God that they ignore the birds as Twinkle, my Star juvenile with the broken wing got out Sunday. He had been out for several hours as I was at HH's house, and I thought he was dog snack. But, as I was feeding birds and Dogs I caught a glimpse of him under the back of the cage and myplants that come in for the winter. After the dogs finished and I got them outside, I walked behind the cages and there he was in the top of my pencil cactus! He didn't even flinch when I picked him up and put him back, Long drink and to bed in his hidy hole!

congrats on getting the cage as well carlamay.

Its great isnt it!?

Yes I have the same issues. I dont enjoy how low it is to the ground. My cat just walks by the cage and it startles the birds, or even my little chihuahua/mini pin puppy whos so small can stand and look right and the cage bottom

I dont think I have a table that short off the ground unless my husband builds something
