Cage Fronts

Post by managermania » Mon Jan 28, 2013 5:24 pm

Anyone have a link to a site in the US that sells cage fronts in order to build your own breeder cages?
Thanks!

I was never able to find a cage front to satisfy my desire for the "perfect cage" so I bought 4 packs of YML 30" x 18" x 18" cages for $76 off of Amazon and cut them up. I used the tray, the front, the bottom and the top and built cages that I am happy with.

Very clever! Look like it keeps the mess in nicely. Love the water system you have set up, is it hard to clean when you need to?

No, easy to clean and low maintenance was my goal. The water cups just lift out and I made 2 for every cage. The biggest mess comes from the hulls off of the hanging millet sprays. If I put them low and in the back corner it's fine but it's just too fun to watch the birds hang on them.
