Good for you...it seems like hit or miss with them. But its not like there aren't plenty of other feeders available in the stores. Wish I could control the seed, millet and poop mess. Cant put dishes on the bottom like you do because I have cats. They wait for my finches to go to the bottom and then pounce. I have mesh outside the cages near the feeders, but they are pretty much useless.
So, what are you gonna do with your babies? I cant imagine your daughters letting them go...

That's great! Now the girls wont have2 say goodbye to them. Would love to know what your girls named the babies??? We name everything that breathes in our house! Even named a tiny house spider Peter Parker. Lol.

I know its been awhile but just had to add that before they were given away the girls named the fledglings "Pebbles" and "Bam Bam"
