I got it, I got it!!! New used cage!

So, I got the flight cage that was on CL.
Man, wish I had found it before I bought their new cage but I can still get my $$ back out of new cage on CL!
And that will cover new/used flight cage.

Hoei Flight cage, 48 x 36 x 24 with a cabinet underneath so about 62-63 in. tall overall.
Needs to be cleaned and cabinet part fumigated as they were smokers but OMG!

The cage calculator says 6-8 birds so all the room mine will ever need.

It is 4x larger than their new cage and I figure 8x larger than the cage they came with!

Now to fill it up! Will take pics when done..... right now it is sitting in my kitchen while I find a spot for it!

Thanks! I was worried hubby would be upset since last weekend we just got the new cage. I knew it was not big enough but it was twice the size of the cage they were in so it was better and what we could afford.

Then on Tues. I think.... this one was listed on craigslist.
Now to put in perches, etc. as I have very little..... need to go shopping for some more this weekend and then set-up!

It is older, I can't find it online at all...even in images.

But paid $60 for it, so I know I can get at least that back out of it...if I had to.

FUN!!! And oh so lucky.
New/old cages are wonderful although they do take a lot of cleaning. I know mine took quite a while until I finally had it the way I wanted it. It was filthy and had about ten pounds of poop encrusted newspaper in the tray. BUT! I got a $500+ flight for $120.00 and I love it.

Enjoy your new flight cage. I know your feathered babes will love it, once you have it all set up and pretty.

Holy smokes..... so bored and found the cage on google finally.....

My eyes about popped at the price for it now.

Now, still looking to see. I know it has a price tag on it of over $500 but not sure of from when this is..... is does look older so?

And yes, we are pressure washing it tomorrow. The wire is in need of scrubbing and I think the pressure washer will get it better since it is pretty dried on. The pan is clean, so just needs a scrub/disinfect and the cabinet base needs to be scrubbed and once that is done.... we will see if I need to touch up the paint on the cabinet.

Bought a bundle of natural branches and then will get a few small perches..... and ?

Hi. Watch that the pressure wash doesn't blast all the paint off. And speaking of paint... if you need to repaint, I think you have to use some kind of special paint that will not harm the little guys. Can't remember the name, but throw it out there and I'm pretty sure that someone will pick it up and offer some a sage advice.
