This is about the YML 3/8 Inch Canary/Finch Breeder Divided Cage, Small, White, #2412 that I recently purchased online and received.
I just received my divided cage that I ordered online today. I got it with the intentions of using it to travel to pick up new birds (Zebra Finches!!!), and in the future, take babies that are ready to go to the local shop so they can be adopted out. I had a heck of a time putting the darn thing together. It had no instructions, and it was one big glob of wire that was attached all together for the most part. I seriously thought it was missing parts when I got it all out of the box. I thought it would have a plastic bottom to it with a pull out tray. Nope. All wire with a thin plastic oil pan pull out. And the divider. Oh my! I panicked when I couldn't get the divider to stay put. Then I *finally* discovered these two metal rail looking things and realized one went center bottom and the other center top. After that, my opinion of the cage went from 'I got ripped off', 'to pretty good'. The perches are not good quality, and the food/water cups are clearly not the best I have seen/had, but for a journey of 4 hours maximum at a time they will suffice. Not my favorite, but I think it will do the job that I had intended it to do. Just for traveling. I just figured I would share my experience with this, as I had a hard time finding reviews of it before I gambled and bought one to see for myself.
