yes, as we know that most of seeds have been wasted, then i just design this to save seeds and $. i used outside feeder which just provide a little amount seeds each time, then, the husks and wasted seeds are collected by the inside feeder underneath, and this wasted seeds can be reused after filtering the husk out. on the other hand, most of wasted seeds can't be caught by the feeder and then drop on the tray under the grill. the bird will enjoy the fresh green after germination and looks good. i suggest that it is better to put bath near the turf coz the splitted water can water plant when taking bath and bird's drops are good fertilizer. you don't have to provide very strong light for it coz the plant will grow taller if the light isn't bright enough, but for me, just looking good with led which penetrate deeper.
