Good morning Elana - it looks amazing (even though I can't enlarge the pictures). I would be overwhelmed having to take care of and keep track of a setup of this scale, though.
How are you and your birdies doing? By now you are probably swamped by the sheer number of baby birds. Are you ready for a bird room of your own?
Have a wonderful Sunday,
Iso

isobea & MiaCarter

My post just vanished...... (?)

Regarding this bird room, it is incredible by the looks of it. I'll have to try and find this site again, and post it here, so you can get a better look at the pictures, and also read about this chap's life long love afair with birds.

As to baby birds:
No baby birds for me.
I'm not breeding, even though my birds are more than willing. I find, that looking after them right now, is almost overwhelming, so the ones I have at present are more than enough. Plus they eat like horses as it is, I'm going through seeds, eggs and veggies at phenomenal amounts.

Any baby birds in your nests, Iso?

Wow, for real! But imagine how organized everything must be. My goodness. All the nests, water, and feeders in the same place. Nothing mismatched at all. I can feel my inner OCD freaking out just thinking about it. I want and need...lol

 He cleans the custom cage bottoms once every two months vs once a week with store-bought cages... I think we need the plans for these...

Wow too. I was overwhelmed thinking about cleaning all those, but if he has a system and special bottoms, great. i have too much to clean with water bottles, dishes for baths etc. LOL.

I'm just in awe of how clean and neat it is. And I love the larger units on the one side and the two walk in aviaries. That is a really fantastic breeding set-up.

I must say this is probably the most impressive setup I've ever seen. It seems to be an integral part of their house too. So neat and clean and organized, but then part of the secret to being organized is to have everything the same--all feeders in the same place, all drinkers in the same place, etc. Makes me really dislike my mismatched hodge-podge of cages!
