A Cage On Kijiji

Post by lovezebs » Mon Sep 07, 2015 1:27 am

Hi All.

I was looking on kijiji, just browsing through birds, cages and flights, when I came across this really strange looking cage/flight.

I don't quite know what to think of it.....
Shower stall, time machine, phone booth ?

Do I like it ? Do I hate it ? Can't make up my mind.

What do you all think of this thing ?

Looks like a parrot cage. Not sure I'd like to glass front.

I say......time machine! The bars look too big for finches. I have a glass fronted (plexiglass) cage and I like it. The birds don't crash into it, unless I'm trying to catch them, but it has give, so it's actually "softer" than the metal bars and it doesn't rough up the feathers like the metal bars. I just wipe it with diluted vinegar once a week.

The thing about this cage is that it's very tall and would be awkward for a larger bird, which looks like what it's supposed to hold.

Elana,

Its kinda mesmerizing and interesting but it looks like they would slap into the front.

And it reminds me of a soda pop can. But that could work in a retro home decor. It all comes down to your decor and tastes.

I can only afford the standard flight cages. But thank goodness they match the rest of the house.

Hi All.

I just thought it was a very odd looking thing. When I first saw it, I thought all it needed was a shower curtain, and it would make a great outdoors shower, shrug....

Just wondered if anyone had ever seen anything like that before (? ) I know I haven't :-D
