radar We need a little more information to be able to help you. What species of finch are they? I'm assuming you mean they go in their nest during the day, but won't go in at night--this is not a problem, unless they are incubating eggs or brooding babies. Is this the case?

Welcome to the forum! There's lots of good reading at www.finchinfo.com, where you will find many articles on finch care. We have not had many members from Iran, we'd love to hear about how people keep finches in your country. What kind of finches are available to you?

Are they young birds? Sometimes when they are parents for the first time, they don't always do such a good job, it can be a learning experience for them. Also, they may not have started incubating the eggs yet. I'd wait a few more days and see if they start staying in the nest more.

Hello.

They will probably lay more eggs for you.

Then both mother and father will take turns sitting on the eggs, until the babies hatch.

Mother will sit for a while, then father will sit, when mother goes out to eat.

Many people on the Forum have Zebra finches. It would be nice to see pictures of your birds.

Good luck :-)

Birds don't usually start sitting tight and at night till there are 4 or more eggs. I would give them more time.
good luck

Hi Radar.

Your birds are beautiful ! Thank you for the picture.
I love the little house that you have for them :-).

They are both Zebra Finches. One is a normal gray Zebra, and the white looks like a CFW (chestnut flanked white) Zebra. They should have lovely babies.

I like the white Zebras as well.
Here is one of mine......
