It's always best to figure out what you want and the moment you see them for sale, grab them; no talking, just grabbing. Owls were the first finch I wanted when I saw them in the store. I didn't get them, though.

hmm i had a deferent situation. hen i wanted them they werent on sale, but the first day he put them on sale i couldnt go :?

Wow :lol: we have a family of wild Goldfinches breeding in our garden
They come down onto the seed feeders each day with 3 youngsters.
They are twice the size of a Bengalese or Zebra finch,
the colours are so vibrant

Yes they do but its all very tight with strict regulations as they are a protected bird in the UK.
You can only buy british bred youngsters that have been closed rung and registered by the breeder.
There is a lot of British bird fanciers in England not just finches but softbills too.
Not sure what prices they would fetch,
probably more than equivalent of $75 you paid.
