There has been a run on these guys. Catching 15 to 20 in a couple of days. Hubby steams them and I am picking and freezing crab meat for the winter. Crabcakes.......yummmmmmm. My hands are pricked and sore..but it's the price you pay for that delicacy :D

I was taught by a 4yo how to pick them! Her little fingers just flew through those crabs. That was over 30 years ago, and I'm still pickin. Love them with fresh strawberry daiquiries....hic hic

I have been picking them since I was 4 :D As of 8 years old... Everday of the summer I would grab the net and catch enough for Mom to steam , then would sit outside at the picnic table and eat them all. My most favorite food then..and now. This was how Hubby and I got together... I met him in my Sunday school class. He invited the group out to his house for a crab boil.... well the rest was history. I must say I made a pig of myself... most of the others ate fish or hamburgers. Tom was impressed with my ability to clean crabs and my appetite  [I am a pisces(fish) He's a cancer(crab)... astrologically we fit perfectly :D ]
I was born on the banks of the James River in Virginia, soon to be eating bluecrabs and hope to spend the rest of my years right here on the banks of Grand lagoon, Florida.... catching crabs. I am a happy girl :D
