I like the third, but those prices are too high. I think I would choose the second one, because it has a filter and appears to be shallower. It said the entire thing was dishwasher safe, which would make cleaning a lot easier.

I have a friend who has a home made water feature. It's basically a two level bird bath. What makes it interesting is he has it hooked up to a water line that is connected to a timer. About every two hours I think it's turns on and runs fresh water into his baths. On his bath he also has an overflow drain that drains the extra water out of the bird cage. I think it's works really well the birds always have a good supply of fresh water and I think he has to clean it maybe once a week. His timer only runs for a minute or two so the water waste is not to bad.

That sounds like an interesting idea. Besides keeping it clean, I am worried about the water quality. Maybe that water additive somebody else mentioned would help.
