delray@Societies&Zebras...this Prevue cage does not have a divider. I owned 2 of these and they are wonderful, but do not have a divider. As far as housing zebras in this flight...I would say 4 or 6 total. Odd numbers isn't recommended with zebras because of bullying.

Oh shucks, that's too bad. But I would still say it's a pretty darn good deal. The reviews are great.

If its that big then a couple other finches could live with the pair of zebras right? If I took nests, or other stuff out? Ginene delray

Deffinetly 1 more pair. Then might be pushing it after that, since the zebras are aggressive sometimes.

Societies&Zebras...If you can save up the extra cash, you will not be sorry you bought the Prevue flight. Great news that your local pet store will take your babies... its hard to give them up though ;) I only rehomed 2 of my babies and it was to delray (my nephew). Quiestion...do you have cats or dogs? I only ask because the Prevue flight is low. I have 2 cats that tortured my finches in those flights, so I had to move my cages into a spare bedroom.

Societies&Zebras...the dimensions are accurate. The D is for Depth. It really is a nice size cage. Two zebra pairs will be fine in here... especially without nests. Hold on to your current cage for breeding. And keep in mind that the pair you have now can't be moved until their babies are fully weaned. Otherwise the parents might stop feeding. I know your eggs haven't even hatched yet... just being a worry wart :)

Yes, I have a full grown cat, and a 9 week old puppy. We are trying to find a home for our cat though. Ginene delray Is it too small that it won't be tall? Like is it a really short, have to get on the floor cage? And I know they haven't hatched yet, I am just wanting to have this bigger cage for when they do get weaned so that they can have a way bigger cage to work them wings.

That's good that they are not near the cat. It should be fine then.

The bottom of the Prevue cage is about 1 foot off of the floor. My birds were frightened by my cats walking around, so they rarely used the cage bottom. The birds did finally use the bottom of the cage once they were in the bird room and they felt safe. I put yummy food dishes and millet down low to lure them down. If you cage is going to be in the same area as your puppy, you might consider getting a cage that sits on a higher stand. Take your time and do some research. Its a pretty big investment and you don't want to regret your choice.

Ginene is right. There are plenty of cages out there. Ones that have higher stands too. Keep us posted.

even though he is small, he may jump or try on the cage. As long as the birds are always away from him, it's ok.

Awesome.

Btw, you should post a picture of your dog in Elana's thread. http://www.finchforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=27982
