Misty,
I used the flight that had the purple martin nest for grow out flight and to seperate some young. Also had the old canaries and weavers in there just hanging out. Also had caged scarlet chested grasskeet in breeding cages in there. decided not to put any loose breeding pairs in. Now the aviary has been given back to the zebras for the winter. I added no nest as I don't usually like to colony breed. Things were alright until I put some giant grasses with seed heads in the aviary, forgetting about the unused purple martin house.... The weavers, zebras are busy filling every whole in the purple martin nest full..... Oh my.... I am sure we will have zebra chicks before long :? I guess I will remove it soon. Fun to watch them strip the plants and gather much like they would do in the wild though.

I'll try and get a picture of it today. Also those plastic gourd type houses are nice and roomy for gouldians and parrot finches.
