I had no idea Misty had such a beautiful site and have now included it in my listings. Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you Debbie

BTW Debbie and her son and husband finished that building in like a week. It went super fast and they did a wonderful job! :)

We live in NJ so I will be testing the heater and such to make sure that I can keep the temperature stable during0 winter this year. Come spring I plan on putting the birds out there so they have time to acclimate to the temps.

Hope you enjoy
I could never figure out how to post the pictures either but you can use photobucket to upload your pictures and then post the link on the email you are posting. A few extra steps but it works.

Wow, that looks great! I'm glad you posted pictures showing the progress of the build. Looks like a great aviary and should serve you quite well!

Fran,

I'm still working on that page - having to create it all by myself with no help from the website design/template. :?

Here are some pictures that I posted on this forum though -

Very nice!!! It makes my small little cage that I was so excited about, (that I thought was so huge compared to what I could find in the stores...) look so small. I'm so  Some day I'd love to have a really large indoor aviary. :D

Stunning is the word that comes to mind. I do however have one question. Do you have a safety door? That would be my only fear. I LOVE the whole idea. You have wonderful ideas. Maybe make up plans and sell them. Could make a fortune!

No safety door yet but can be added very easily. I never had any problems with birds escaping when I had walk in aviaries in my basement. I make the doors small enough so you have to duck to get in, birds seem to want to fly over your head, it's worked so far. The gazebo serves as the safety door to the coop, the coop is a bit smaller then the outside part and they can't really see you coming so I wasn't sure they wouldn't be right at the door when I open it. They should be able to see you coming and get outta the way with the outside part, but like I said, a safety door can be added easily later.
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments and ideas

I can't believe it is autumn there already. I miss the smell, temperature, and colors so much. I'm not meant for FL.

Good luck with your aviary. I'm excited to see it full of birds.

Very nice Debbie, what a beautiful setting for your birds to enjoy!!

I to miss the Fall and especially the Spring in NJ/Pa. We have to go more north in Florida to even a little change in the cooler/colder months.
