Bill, I think the green were either $55 or $75 (I can't be for certain, sorry) and the blue male was $95. There were others there but those and the yello red head caught my daughter's eye and after putting the cage in the car she wanted to go back and show me. When we did go in to look again the little green sat right there and sang. He was very nice.

They also had canaries, lots of parrots amd Macaws. The place has changes it used to be just two tiny rooms and the storage/cage area across the hall. I'm going back!!!!

This is the 30x18x36 cage I just got from her. They are very nice people, I've been in and out of their 2 shops for the last 6 yrs.

Bill reminded me about them, glad I went! Thanks again Bill.

Thank you Misty. I have 3 "cages in waiting" to decorate. I am thinking about getting a pair of gouldians or green singers or Forbes.

Donna's Forbes are beautiful, my breeder had them the show before last. I need at least 2 cages for little babies.

Who is your breeder? Do they ship? What were the prices of them? I would like to know because Donna and I would like to get another bloodline of Forbes.

Cindy,

I would like to see you get the Green Singers too - not many people outside of Canary people have them and would like to see what kind of success you have with them. I loved the song from the male but mine hardly ever sang. :?

I read somewhere (I'll try to find the article) that they stop singing for a little while, I can't remember why. The breeder I use had tham at the last show, they are tinier than I thought. Mini canary!!!

Just to clarify the web site to countryfeathers is not a .com it is a .net. So just in case some go to search and can't find the url is
http://www.countryfeathers.net/

This place has great prices and I will continue to order from them.

http://www.yangtzeusa.com/cages.htm

-cheaper
-no tax id needed
-no overcharges on shipping or packaging
-family owned and operated
-fast shipping
-no need to buy 3 cases. you can buy a single case of 4 cages.

I paid 104 USD for a case of 30x18x18 and had it shipped to my door in 3 days. Came from california 3/4 the way across the US. I personally highly recommend Yangtze USA.

For what its worth, my experience with country feathers, on 2 occasions, was poor and would never recommend them to anyone. Feel free to pm me if you want details.

I have had a very good experience with Country Feathers.

I have ordered from both places and country feathers has a heavier gauge wire to thier cages and higher placed breed doors
No tax ID required
You can order a case of 4 30" x 18" x 18' for $ 132.00 including shipping to anywhere in the US :D I like shipping included. :D
Also fast shipping.
They speak english that I can understand #-o
You can order online with secure credit card. Don't have to call unless you buy more than 3 boxes and want the discount. Then they give you the discounted price and the quote for the actual shipping to your area. If you are close to Tennessee, this could be a great savings :D
Father, wife and son and daughter operated with super cheerful attitudes. Country Feathers is now hosting bird shows and the vendors are raving about how well they do, offering great advertizing, and large spaces.

If you did want more than 3 cases they will cut that price even more :D I usually buy a box of 24 " breeders( 6 cages to a box), a box of 30" breeders( 4 cages to a box) and a box of 36" tall flights (2 cages to a box) choice of black or white cages.

I agree with Candace, she told me about Country feathers, I've ordered twice from them already. Their cage 2474 is very nice and sturdy. It was $126.00 for (4) 30x18x18 cages. You will be pleased with them.

Thank you again Miss Candace for telling me about them! :)

Candace, I would be curious to know how long ago you made purchases from each and how long it was between ordering from each. I have only ordered once but the stuff I have and the stuff that CF had at the birdmart I attended (about a month after I purchased from Yangtze) was identical.

From that I would say the quality/style of the cages probably changed over time if there was a bit of time between your orders. Also, when I called to ask CF about some cage details, they told me they were out of stock and said they were expecting some but they were on a boat from China and would be some time until they arrived. When I called Yangtze, he told me the same thing, except he had a few cases left in stock. So its possible that they get their stuff from the same chinese supplier.

Either way, I am glad you had a good experience Candace! When are we swapping some GBs? I got another clutch of those little guys.
