I was wondering...I have a big aviary, so could I keep maybe one or two ringneck doves in with my finches?

if your aviary is large enough they should be ok as they not aggressive and they will not attack the finches and vice versa, the small finches may fly around a bit when you put them in as the samll finches will be a bit weary of the large birds to begin with but they should settle down

Yes, if your aviary is big enough...doves do fine...but they take up a lot of room and have surprisingly HUGE droppings

.
Have you considered button quail?

I have that combination - ringnecks, rock pigeon, and the philippine cuckoo dove with all my finches. They actually do live well together. And yes, they have big droppings, but the bigger the droppings, the happier the potted plants are. It's easy to clean the droppings because when they accumulate, they come off like pizza crust.
The only thing is that doves are quite a bore actually when compared to the finches. Changing the perspective might even be worse - the doves may really be bored. I have been contemplating on setting all the doves free because they seem too "caged" even if my aviary seems big enough for them to fly back and forth. It's just that they have somewhat been attached to me, so releasing them has been waiting for momentum. They are domesticated enough for me to press my finger on their bellies for them to perch on. Unlike the finches who are happy and propagating, the doves just don't feel right.

...never release a domesticated animals...although some will survive...the vast majority will be eaten...promptly...
