I was watching a few of my finches and realized that the perch they were on was TOO large for them. They were not able to get their claws into the perch. So is there a recommended diameter range or a recommended way to determine the proper diameters from looking at the foot?

Thanks, that at least gives me a minimum size that I can work from.
Funny now I'm looking at their feet on the perches.
