Bar Spacing Question

I am looking to get a couple of zebra finches and I have been offered a cage which is 800mm long 480mm wide and 900mm high. The bar spacing is 15mm. Is this bar spacing ok for zebra finches or is it too wide. Thanking you all in anticipation of your assistance.

15 mm = 0.6 inches. Seems pretty wide to me for finches...

I agree - bar spacing should be no more than 1/2" and preferably less.

Thanks. I have also been offered this (pic attached) with this one my concern is that it is too narrow. Again for 1 pair Zebras. Thanks again for being patient with me, I want to do my best for the birds I get.

A cage should be as wide as possible, the height doesn't matter as much. Maybe you can reconstruct that one somehow and put it sideways? But then you would need a new bottom etc, that might not be worth the trouble...

The opening is not ideal either, it's much too big for daily use. They might slip right past your arm and fly out....
