Lighting

Greetings,
I am wanting to improve the lighting conditions for my feathered friends.
I am currently using a "full spectrum UVA, UVB..." type screw in light bulb.
I saw some grow lights at a lighting store for plants. With two T12 fluorescent tube bulbs. Bulbs do not say UVA or UVB. Would this be adequate for adding extra lighting to a room which already receives natural sunlight?
Thanks
Jeremy

I use "daylight" flourescent lamps, simply because they don't cast a color onto the birds like warm white does.

At lowe's I bought two of the t12 3 ft flood light lamps for about 15 bucks each and then bought a whole case of the daylight sylvania bulbs (the price per bulb in the case vs in pairs is insane, gotta buy the case)

And then I bought two simple timers for each so they can have a period of just one set on at a time and lessen the shock from none on to both on.

I placed both on top of the aviary and I never have to think about em again.
