Hello SyHiep and welcome to the Finch Forum and Happy New Year to you! Your birds look wonderful! Have you had any success breeding the Strawberries?
I have three pair but only 1 hen lays eggs - they sit perfectly but all eggs are infertile (with 2 different males).
Your setup is very nice. I wish it was warm enough here to have an outdoor aviary year-round but right now we have more than a foot of snow outside.

Welcome!
What a great outdoor aviary, and such a wonderful array of birds! I'd never get any work done, sitting out there just watching them!
Happy New Year!!

Hello Ontario!
My strawberries have built net for several times in the bamboo tree but no success, I think they was disturbed by the lonely male zebra. He's quite unpleasant...
After the female dead, he follow this brow society female:

In the aviary of my friend, strawberries also build nets on a dense bamboo tree and success with 2 juveniles, that's an our record!
give you some more pics of our navite finch:
the male become redder in the breeding season.

Singing to seduce female

I have 6 total, they always sleep in pair at night! hihi

Thank you for the additional photos - they are terrific! Have you ever seen your Strawberries mate or do that do that in the nest? Mine do it anywhere in the cage but I notice they are not even close to 'touching' where it counts. Hence I get all IF eggs. Such a waste of time and effort on their part.
