I'm building an aviary and I've done extensive searching for 1/2" plastic mesh and I can't find any source to buy it from...can anyone help me? Everywhere I've gone, the mesh sold for over $100 and I know that it shouldn't be that expensive- it should be cheaper than galvanized mesh. I'm looking to spend maybe $10-20 on a roll that will cover 6 sides of an aviary each 5ft tall and 25" wide.

I don't know where you're located, but I got mine at either Lowe's or Home Depot. I suppose any builder supply store would carry it. Good luck.

If you would put your location in your profile, it makes it much easier to answer questions. Also, on another post, you mentioned that you had Menards, not Home Depot, available. I don't know where Menards is, but online you can order plastic mesh from Lowe's.

I got mine Home Depot. It was about $16 or $18 per roll. One roll did my cage and it's 4' x 3' x 2.5'.

Sometimes they call it "hardware cloth" or "hardware mesh." It was near the outdoor fencing section.
