Is this cage good enough for a finch pair? Or if not please tell me why... Thanks

The bar spacing is 5/8", too big for most finches.
The cage is taller than it is wide. Finches don't climb like hookbills do. So it's better to provide them with a wide (24-30") cage.

You also will probably want to avoid a single large door - it would be too easy for a bird to get out.

OKay thanks ya'll I was wondering about those two things, but I do like the cage...

Too bad parrots make noise and poop...

They have breeder cages too... 30"long x 18" or something deep x 18" high... sound good?

Yes, the breeding cages work great... not the best looking cages on the market, but they give you the width finches prefer.

...hate to tell you this...but finchs poop...er, they poop a lot...
Seriously...the smaller the bird, the higher the metabolism...the more often they eat...and the more often they poop...

Is it runny like the Amazons or w/e? I saw some in the petstore in town and it was runny and stunk!!! Finches however are kinda like doves, they aren't runny but firm and small...

So descriptive....

The finches do generally have more solid poop, and it doesn't smell bad. But there is a lot of it.

As long as it doesn't reek it's cool...
