electric light
I have a clip-on light over my bird cage for my societies. It has just a regular bulb in it (the twisted kind) but I was wondering if there was a certain kind I should use that would be more healthy for them (promote vitamin D absorption, etc.).

Re: electric light
Even the best of lights will not give them the necessary Vitamin D so you will have to supplement. Hard boiled eggs are a great way of giving them Vitamin D, protein and more.
