Re: 4 stack of cages
They look like the same type of cages I use for breeding (If they are 30" wide). Fantastic deal for someone in the area!

That is a good deal, no matter what the size, as that works out to less than $20 per cage, not even counting the stand! Can't tell from the photo if those are 24x16x16 or 30x18x18, but even if they are the smaller size, that works for breeding less active birds like Societies or Gouldians.

Re: 4 stack of cages
Bill, I has so exceeded my original 3 pairs of birds and my simple stack of three cages!!!! My birds now have spots in 3 rooms of the house which includes a zebra breeding area in the alcove in our utility room!!!
Thank you for the thought, I still might consider it though!!!

Re: 4 stack of cages
I think that is the smaller 24" cage.
The only thing is I think the top cage is pretty far above the floor.
I have FIVE of the 24" cages stacked and cable tied together. I have to use a stool to get to cage #4 and a ladder to get to cage #5.
That shelf is much better for stability than my cable ties.

Re: 4 stack of cages
A friend of mine decided to take the stack cages and mount them on the wall, one above the other with a little room in between. He did this by sinking bolts into the wall that could hold the cage, the head of the bolt had a lip on it, 4 bolts across the wall per cage. The cages were easily moved for cleaning and rearranging....I may do this instead of using the stands.
