Breeding cage for parrot finch
What is the best size breeding cage for parrot finch's? Also what site on line has the most reasonable price for cages? Thanks

A breeder friend of mine has been successful breeding a pair red parrot finches in a 36x18x18. These where cage raised juveniles when bought.
As for cages i would check locally...ie craigslist...ebay classifieds first

The bigger the better for these guys - they are very very active so needs lots of room to fly - I would say nothing less than 4' long - otherwise you would face them becoming over weight too because they are very good eaters as well.

I agree with Misty -- although I know they've been bred in smaller cages, I think the bigger the better and quicker they will breed.
