Aviary Move

Post by Danyl » Fri Jul 08, 2011 11:30 am

Aviary has been moved, after birds vanishing i decided to move the aviary to somewhere more secure where nothing can get in. However i did have a problem, with have 2 week old chics i was a bit concerned about moving but had to take the risk..

Thankfully once moved the parents carried on as normal feeding the chicks and now there days away from fledging the nest :D

So yeah thought i would share some pictures, just need to finish the roof cover now and all done..

Hiya Danyl,
I would recommend you provide an indoor section before the Autumn. The birds need shelter from draughts and wind. This pic of a ready made small aviary might give you a tip or two.
